The Wythe County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 7:05 p.m. to hear public comment on the disposition of the following real property:
Parcel 41A-1-33-1 - Spiller Annex Property, 305 Tazewell Street, Wytheville, VA
The hearing will take place in the Board Room of the County Administration Building, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, Virginia.

The Wythe Bland Joint Public Service Authority is accepting bids to provide solid waste transportation services. Bids must be received by 2:00 PM local time, July 17, 2019 and then shall be opened publicly at the Wythe County Administration Building. The bids shall be sealed and clearly marked Bid for Solid Waste Transportation Services. The address for submitting proposals is 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, Va. 24382 Attn: Martha Collins. Proposals received after 2:00 PM local prevailing time shall not be accepted.

In compliance with Section 15.2-4311 of the Code of Virginia, the Wythe County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider adopting Amendment No. 2 to Ordinance No. 99-4 entitled, “Fairview Agricultural and Forestal District Ordinance of Wythe County, Virginia”. The Board of Supervisors will continue the district for a period of ten years.
The public hearing will be held on Monday, August 13, 2019, at 7:05 p.m. in the Board Room of the Wythe County Administration Building, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, Virginia.
The Board of Supervisors will hear comments from citizens concerning the adoption of such amendment. A copy of the amendment, map and other related materials are available for review in the County Administrator’s Office.
The Wythe County Board of Supervisors is seeking individuals who are interested in serving on the New River Mount Rogers Workforce Development Board and Recreation Commission (At-Large, Speedwell & Black Lick representatives needed for Recreation Commission).
