Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 15.2-2507 of the Code of Virginia and amendments thereto, that the Wythe County Board of Supervisors intends to consider an amendment to increase the FY21 budget in the amount of $2,502,568 for funds received from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
A public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 6:05 p.m., or as soon as practicable thereafter, in the Board Room of the County Administration Building, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, Virginia 24382 to hear public comment on the proposed budget amendment.
The Wythe County Board of Supervisors will be conducting a public hearing on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m., or soon thereafter, to consider a recommendation to revise the transportation section of the Wythe County Comprehensive Plan.
The hearing will be conducted in the Board Room of the Wythe County Administration Building, 340 South 6th Street, Wytheville, VA. Any person may appear and state their views thereon. This proposed recommendation can be viewed at the Administration Building. The hearing is held in compliance with Section 15.2-2229 of the Code of Virginia.

In compliance with Section 15.2-2006 of the Code of Virginia and amendments thereto, the Wythe County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing to consider adopting an ordinance for vacation of right-of-ways or streets entitled:
“An Ordinance Discontinuing and Vacating a portion of Reed Street a 50-feet wide Right-of-Way and the Entirety of a Public 12-feet Wide Alleyway located in the Max Meadows Community of Wythe County, Virginia”
The Board of Supervisors will hear comments from citizens concerning the adoption of the proposed ordinance.
The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Wythe County Office Building, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, Virginia.

The Wythe County Planning Commission will be conducting a public hearing on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 beginning at 7:05 p.m., or soon thereafter, to consider a recommendation to amend the transportation section of the Wythe County Comprehensive Plan.
The hearing will be conducted in the Board Room of the Wythe County Administration Building, 340 South 6th Street, Wytheville, VA. Any person may appear and state their views thereon. This proposed recommendation can be viewed at the Administration Building. The hearing is held in compliance with Section 15.2-2229 of the Code of Virginia.

Notice is given that the Board of Supervisors of Wythe County, Virginia (the “Board”), will hold a public hearing on the proposed issuance of bonds, at one time or from time to time, by Wythe County. The estimated maximum amount of the bonds is $2,200,000 in the aggregate. The proposed use of the proceeds of such bonds is to pays costs of an addition to the County office building and related improvements. The public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, and at which persons may appear and present their views on the proposed bond issue, will be held at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on September 8, 2020, before the Board in the Board Room of the County Administration Building, located at 340 South Sixth Street in Wytheville, Virginia.
