The Regional Improvement Commission, created by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Virginia to disburse gaming tax proceeds to the 12 counties and two cities of the Bristol Transportation District, will hold its first formational meeting Monday, May 23, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the Southwest Virginia Cultural Center, 1 Heartwood Drive, Abingdon, VA 24210. The Commission is a public body and meetings are open unless otherwise excluded from open proceedings under Virginia Code 2.2-3711.
