The Wythe County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing pursuant to the Code of Virginia, and amendments thereto, to hear comments on Wythe County’s withdrawal from the Smyth-Wythe Airport Commission. The public hearing will be held at 9:05 a.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in the Board Room of the County Administration Building, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, Virginia. TO ALL INTEREST AGENCIES, GROUPS, AND PERSONS:
On or about October 08, 2012, Wythe County, Virginia, will authorize the Housing Assistance Council (HAC) to submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to release Federal funds under the Self-Help Homeownership Opportunity Program (SHOP), authorized under Section 11 of the Housing Opportunity Program Extension Act of 1996 (P.L. 104-120) for the following project:
Long Meadows Subdivision Project
The purpose of these funds is for the acquisition of land for construction of single-family homes
The project address is High Meadows Road, Route 52, Fort Chiswell, Virginia
The estimated total project budget is $3,491,000 of which SHOP funds consist of $285,000
The entire project consists of the acquisition, site improvement, and construction of single-family homes |
