Wythe County release first draft of Tourism Strategic Plan PDF Print E-mail

The Wythe County Tourism Committee has released its first draft of the Tourism Strategic Plan. The plan includes a vision statement for the County, goals for the future current assets and more.

Strategic Plan Review Meeting PDF Print E-mail

The Tourism Committee will hold a review meeting; this will be the last meeting to develop Wythe County’s three to five year Strategic Tourism Plan in its entirety. This meeting will be on April 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the County Administration Building in Boardroom.

 
Tourism Stakeholder Meeting PDF Print E-mail

The stakeholder meeting will be to compile data to develop visions and goals the community feels are necessary. The public, local businesses and others involved in the tourism industry are invited to attend this meeting on Feb. 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. in the County Administration Building in Boardroom.

 
Public asked to attend historical survey meeting PDF Print E-mail

On January 26, 2012, a public meeting will be held at the County Administration Building in the Boardroom at 7 p.m. regarding a historical survey to be conducted by Hanbury Preservation Consulting and The College of William and Mary in the coming months. The Wythe County Historical Society, with Wythe County, is aiding in the coordination of the survey and public input.

The Wythe County Historical Society, with Wythe County, is aiding in a historical survey to be conducted by Hanbury Preservation Consulting and The College of William and Mary in the coming months. Information regarding the survey and a method for providing information can be found on the project's Webpage.
