Department Responsibilities

To strengthen Wythe County’s economy through the promotion of
Wythe County as a tourism destination by advising the Wythe
County Board of Supervisors in the formulation of policy, plans
and strategies for the management and development of 
tourism in Wythe County, Virginia, as set forth in Transient Lodging
Tax Ordinance of Wythe County Ordinance Number 85-2 dated June
3, 1998.
