Under the direction of Sheriff Keith Dunagan, the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement and emergency services to the citizens of Wythe County.

Wythe County is located in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia covering 460 square miles. The county’s population is approximately 30,000 and although most of our county is rural, interstates 77 and 81 intersect here, bringing numerous travelers to and through our county on a daily basis.
