The Office of Information Technology (IT) is a department within the general county government system. The IT department strives to improve the technology base, update the departments with the latest technology available within budget limits, and centralize email accounts.

IT is currently in charge of managing the internet service and network infrastructure within the general county government system. The service is available in 4 locations including the County Complex. The department manages the 3 server locations within the Governmental Complex and 4 remote locations.

Web creation, design, and data entry is managed within the Technology office.  IT manages and maintains all the wythco.org email accounts which is hosted on-site on a separate server.  All county email account accounts utilize webmail or Outlook.

We make recommendations towards purchasing of Computers, printers, and other technology related equipment for county departments. All this is done in accordance with the County Procurement Guidelines.

We have just added a HELP DESK function to the website.  County employees should expect to be receiving an email in the very near future to setup training on this new feature!
