The County Administrator is appointed by the Board of Supervisors to administer all programs and to ensure that County government operates efficiently and effectively.

Duties of the County Administrator

Implements the policies adopted by the Board of Supervisors
Employs, supervises and provides direction, leadership and supervision to all county department heads
Serves as an advisor to the Board of Supervisors and keeps them informed of financial matters and conditions of the County
Recommends an annual county operating and capital improvement budget to the Board
Serves as a link between the Board of Supervisors and the public and other boards and commissions
