The Wythe County Board of Supervisors and the Wythe County Planning Commission have completed Wythe County’s Comprehensive Plan. This plan is designed as a decision making tool to help guide the growth and development of the county. This plan is general, long range and comprehensive. It makes recommendations based upon the data gathered about land use, population, housing, community services, transportation and the economy. The recommendations made in this plan take into consideration present and probable future needs and seek to promote the health, safety, morals, order, convenience, prosperity and general welfare of the people in Wythe County.
A copy of the Comprehensive Plan is on file in the Wythe County Administration Building for review or it can be viewed by going here: 2007 Wythe County Comprehensive Plan. Please note that the Comprehensive Plan is large (3.8 MB).
